I was recently working on pictures for this client and I was blown away by how beautiful the images were. Sure accessories and wardrobe do make a difference, but more than that, beautiful moments are created when people are comfortable and themselves. It is only then that love and emotions are able to show through. When the clients are at ease, Carmen is able to capture so many more pictures that you can cherish forever. -Hope 
Hope, our Graphic Artist, is our "artsy gal." She is full of creative ideas. Today, she created this adorable "I just turned ONE" announcement for baby Samantha Ava. Isn't she just precious? Scrumptious? Delicious? All of the above. Here at Carmen Wilson's we can make cards for all occasions. They are so much fun! Quite often I sneak in to Hope's office to peak. I must say I get a little jealous that she gets to create these cards. I find myself now behind the lens more than ever. So, Hope gets to take over those creative moments behind the scenes. Ok.. I admit I love it!
Ok...are you shocked? I finally added a new song to the website. I have been searching for MONTHS. If you know me -you know it has to be special. It had to touch my heart from the moment i heard the first note. I can't tell you how many songs I have heard on Itunes lately. I gave up! I knew it was going to be one of those moments that would find Me and not me looking for that perfect song. I always say " I hate to be forced to buy a present when I have to look for it" "My favorite kinda gift giving is when I'm at the store and an item reminds me of that special person and then I just LOVE buying it". You just can't force it. It has to find you first. Anyways, I arrived at the studio this morning and I was listening to Joy FM and bang! The shining moment. I got all teary like a silly mom. Cinderella by Steven Curtis Chapman is just amazing. It reminds us mommies and daddies that we must cherish our children daily because LIFE goes so fast. Before you know it they are getting married and they will be all grown up. I hope you enjoy "Cinderella" as much as I have. You can purchase the song on itunes. As I was shooting this image the cross was inspiring me so much. However, when Mommy A. held the necklace up for just a second I said "hold that move" and that is what inspired me. It was so simple yet so meaningful. I think I shot 20 frames until I decided " Dad would be such a great addition to the whole moment". Thank you for allowing me to capture both of your pregnancy images. It's such a great compliment when a client comes back to me. Especially, when they live so far! xo,Carmen

During shoots, we often get husbands who just can't take their eyes off their wives. They stare with loving admiration. This is the perfect example. Often, pregnant women don't feel beautiful. But taking the time and preparing for a photoshoot... dressing up, getting their hair and makeup done, and getting pampered reminds them of how beautiful they really are. Who says pregnancy can't be sexy?
These are some of our favorite images from this year. They are just so artistic and striking... they look like they should be in the pages of Vogue as ads. We just LOVE them :) Don't you?
